For me a business card is not about making a good impression. Or making sure "they" keep in touch.
For me it's about something clever, funny, yet simple and clear. We all know the boring white background+logo cards. And I bet you've all seen the glossy icons, representing a certain company...
But do you remember them? Separating your card from others by various colors and shapes is not enough. To make it stick, the message itself has to be remembered.
What started out as a doodle on a sticky-note, quickly became a journey of combining simplicity with originality.
I enjoy but u can prime on the finalization, See, u have a nice idea but need to give more atention in the design of it.. the front yes, is nice.. the icons etc.. ya.. but the back?
my opinion: u need at lleast to show ur graphic tallent in the card. awithe rounded rectangle + fonts don't impress. Nice idea! An so, put what u do in the card (designer, advertiser, engineer etc) Remember: Comunication is a mix of NICE IDEAS and FUNCIONALITY. Just amateurs do somethingalways genius and funny. Fav..
Thanks for the critique, greatly appreciated. And of course much gratitude for the fav.
a small reply to your critique; I understand that, being a graphic designer, it is important to show your graphic skills to your "potential client". However my point of this card was not to impress people with designer skills, or to have people running to me with projects.
I simply wanted to let people know I am here, be they strangers, be they new friends.
I agree I need to pay more attention to the backside to "make it pop".
